concept stuff for a client turned into a painting. tattooing it next week..should be fun. except she decided she now wants her alive, looking forward,  and with peacock feathers somewhere. still awesome. i'm gunna start posting new stuff here more often.

i've been meaning to paint him a "mom" painting for a while now aaand it only took me...two and a half years. 

i'll be in toronto in a few days and i'm stoked.

busy busy.

haven't been drawing much lately at all. 

my boyfriend and i are moving to a new apartment downtown and his parents are coming to visit us/help us move. i'm really stoked. they're super nice and our new place is gorgeous. 

i'll get back to quick and dirty drawings next week. 

i'm sure i'll feel extra inspired in our new place and be drawing over time.

i'm going to be a super creep and stay up at night drawing my boyfriend in bed. might wear one of those headband flashlights...

people just look really happy when they're sleeping.
i want to spend valentines hibernating in bed with him.

i work with this guy named richard vega who does really beautiful portraits. it's inspiring. it also makes me want to chop off my hands because i suck so bad. i never ever do realism. i'm shooting for a new goal to do a portrait sketch every day. just quick 10 minutes skribbles. just enough to get my brain thinking about them. 

this is katherine. 

sometimes she takes really 'myspace' type angled pictures. 

sometimes she looks like me in her photos. 

she's pretty cool and she likes leftover crack. 

i feel like i'm back in grade 9 sketching really ugly portraits.
